No. 47779.Supreme Court of Nevada.
September 7, 2006.
ORDER OF TRANSFER TO DISABILITY INACTIVE STATUS
Bar Counsel for the State Bar of Nevada and attorney Paul V. Carelli, III, have jointly petitioned this court for an order transferring Carelli to disability inactive status. Paul V. Carelli and his counsel have signed the joint petition. The parties stipulate that Carelli is presently incapacitated under the terms of SCR 117 from continuing to practice law.
Having reviewed the petition and its attachments, we conclude that the relief requested in the joint petition is warranted under the circumstances. Accordingly, Paul V. Carelli is transferred to disability inactive status. Carelli may resume the active practice of law only after he has complied with SCR 117(4) and (5) and after he has reimbursed the Client Security Fund for any amounts paid by the Fund on Carelli’s behalf. In light of this order, any pending disciplinary proceedings against Carelli are suspended.
The State Bar shall effect notice of this order as required under SCR 121.1. Bar counsel shall provide this court with proof that notice has been served.
It is so ORDERED.[1]
